  • Is there a time division for quota usage?

    Yes. The main quota can be used 24 hours, while the midnight quota can only be used between 01:00-05:00.

  • Which quota will be used first?

    The midnight quota will be used first between 01:00-05:00, while the main quota can be used 24 hours.

  • What is SmartPoin?

    SmartPoint is an award given to loyal Smartfren customers. SmartPoin can be exchanged for prizes as you wish.

  • What is Lucky Number?

    Customers can choose their favorite number as desired, unique numbers will be charged according to the applicable tariff category.

  • Who can buy the PowerUP Plan?

    Currently, PowerUP Plan only applies to new customers (Non Smartfren).

  • How do I become a PowerUP customer?

    Please purchase from MySmartfren application, smartfren.com/powerupwebsite, and nearest smartfren galleries.

  • What if there are problems to register KTP / KK when purchase the plan?

    There are several reasons for problems when registering KTP / KK as follows:

    1. Unable to register because the maximum limit has been met.

    You are only allowed to have 3 registered Smartfren numbers which you can check through https://my.smartfren.com/check_nik.php. You can delete the number you have or add a number via the nearest Smartfren Gallery.

    1. KTP / KK not valid.

    Make sure that the KTP and KK that you enter are correct. If there are still problems, then you are required to come to your sub-district office to update the data.

  • The PowerUP Starter Pack that I have purchased through the application / website will it be taken to smartfren Gallery or sent to my house?

    PowerUP Starter Pack will be sent to the buyer's address according to the address filled in when placing the order. You must ensure that the shipping address is correct and that the telephone number listed is active. You can also choose to pick up the PowerUP Starter Pack at the nearest smartfren Gallery.

  • Will the starter pack delivery be charged?

    Shipping costs are entirely borne by the customer.

  • Can I choose Starter Pack with Prepaid or Postpaid?

    For now, only Prepaid Starter Pack are available.

  • What are the conditions to deliver PowerUP Starter Pack?

    Each customer is free to choose the shipping method according to the desired rate. Starter Pack delivery is max. 3 working days after ordering or payment transaction. Delivery time estimates may change if large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) applied.

  • Do I need to re-register the Starter Pack after I receive the Starter Pack?

    Yes, by activating through mySF application. If there is a problem when activating the Starter Pack, you can contact Smartfren Call Center at 888 (Smartfren Number) / 08811223344 (Non Smartfren) or via email customercare@smartfren.com.

  • How to activate PowerUP Starter Pack?

    Here are the steps:

    1. Insert PowerUP Starter Pack into your device. If it is dual SIM, make sure the Card is placed on SIM 1.
    2. Make sure you are connected to internet or a WiFi network.
    3. Download and open MySmartfren application. If you already have MySmartfren application, make sure it has been updated to the latest version.
    4. Select "Activate My SIM"
    5. Prepare your ID and KK for registration purpose.
    6. Enter the card number that you have purchased in the purchase confirmation email.
    7. Scan the barcode or enter number under the barcode manually on the back of the SIM Card.
    8. EnterActivation Codewhich was sent to your email when purchase.
    9. Your SIM already active.

  • Is there a deadline for the activation process?

    You are required to activate the card in MySmartfren application within 90 days of purchase otherwise the PowerUP Starter Pack will expire.

  • Can I buy POWER UP Starter Pack without data package?

    No. Every starter pack includes a data package.

  • How do I renew the PowerUP Plan if it has entered the grace period?

    The PowerUP plan can be extended by purchasing an internet or credit package before the 30 days grace period ends.

  • Where can I top up or buy PowerUP plan?

    Top up or select PowerUP plan can be done through mySF application.

  • Can I use the old PowerUP benefits?

    Yes can, as long as you still has balance for auto-renewal.

  • As and old PowerUP customer (6 months), can I buy the newest PowerUP plan?

    Yes, the benefits of your latest PowerUP plan will replace the previous package.

Smart Deal Bundling

  • 1. What is SmartDeal Bundling Package?

    SmartDeal package is a bundling service for Postpaid customers with options 12 or 24 month contract periods, which provides complete benefits such as data quota, calls and SMS as well as special offers in the form of cashback for discounted smartphone purchases.

  • 2. How do I get the SmartDeal bundling package?

    a. Visit smartfren galleries or outlets that have collaborated with smartfren. 

    b. Select the SmartDeal bundling package and the type of Smartphone you want. 

    c. SmartDeal bundling package will be paid in full up front and use cashback to buy the desired Smartphone. 

    d. If the price of the Smartphone is higher than the cashback, customer only needs to pay the remaining price. The cashback value varies according to the bundling package chosen, the higher the package the greater the cashback value you'll get.

  • 3. What is Main Quota 24 Hours?

    Main Quota 24 hours is 4G internet quota that can be used 24 hours / day during the bundling contract period.

  • 4. What is Midnight Quota?

    Midnight Quota is internet quota that can be used from 01:00 to 05:00 WIB during the bundling contract period.

  • 5. What is the mechanism for benefits given from this SmartDeal Package bundling?

    All benefits, Quota, Calls and SMS, will be given every 30 days for 12 times (12 months) or 24 times (24 months) since the number is activated. The remaining benefits cannot be accumulated to the next period.

  • 6. How do I check the remaining quota?

    You can check the remaining quota via MySmartfren application or call * 123 #.

SmartPlan Postpaid

  • 1. What is SmartPlan Postpaid Package?

    SmartPlan Postpaid package is a complete combo package consist of data, voice and SMS quota benefits where customers will get a unit that can be adjusted by themselves and converted into a data / call / SMS quota according to customer needs.

  • 2. How many options for SmartPlan Postpaid package?

    The selection of SmartPlan Postpaid packages varies from Rp 50K to Rp 650K.

  • 3. If I Buy 100K SmartPlan Package, How Many Units Can I Get and How Much is the Maximum Unit Allocation for the Data Quota?

    100K SmartPlan package will get 20 units, of which the maximum unit can be allocated for a maximum data quota of 18 units (equivalent to 18 GB), Voice quota 1 unit (equivalent to 5 minutes) and SMS quota 1 unit (equivalent to 50 SMS)

  • 4. Can I Allocate All Existing Units for Data Quota Only?

    No, you can't, at least 1 unit must be allocated for Voice quota and 1 unit for SMS quota. There can't be zero (empty) units.

  • 5. What is Quota 24 Hours?

    24 hours quota is 4G internet quota that can be used 24 hours / day during the validity period of SmartPlan package.

  • 6. What is Voice Quota to Other Operator?

    Voice quota to other operators is quota for calls that can be used to other operators in Indonesia. This quota does not apply to international calls or special numbers such as Call Center services and other special / premium services.

  • 7. What is Unlimited Call Quota to Smartfren?

    Unlimited Voice Quota to Smartfren is a call quota that can be used to fellow Smartfren. This quota is not valid when roaming.

  • 8. What is SMS Quota to All Operators?

    SMS quota to All Operators is an SMS quota that can be used to all operators in Indonesia, including Smartfren numbers. This quota does not apply to international SMS or special numbers such as SMS Banking and other special / premium SMS services.

  • 9. What if the data quota runs out before the package ends?

    This Postpaid SmartPlan package applies a Limitless mechanism, meaning that if the data quota is used up in the middle of the package period, customer can still make data connection at an adjusted speed until the end of the month / the package renewal process in the next billing cycle.

    If you want to get the Best Effort speed, customers can buy Add On Data Package available through MySmartfren application.

  • 10. What if the voice and SMS quota runs out before the package ends?

    If the Voice or SMS quota runs out, the applicable Call or SMS tariff will be charged. Customers can buy Add On Phone or SMS Package available through MySmartfren application

  • 11. Will the remaining data / phone / SMS quota be accumulated to the following month?

    No, the remaining data / phone / SMS quota will be reset every month (not accumulated to the next month).

  • 12. How long is the quota valid for Add On SmartPlan package?

    The validity period of SmartPlan Add On Package will follow the active period of SmartPlan Package, which is until the end of the month / package renewal process in the next billing cycle.

  • 13. Can I Change the Unit Allocation in SmartPlan Package?

    Yes, customers can change the unit allocation in the middle of billing cycle date, where the new unit allocation will only be effective in the billing cycle / in the following month.
