The Roaming Around The World package can be purchased while in Indonesia or after abroad. However, for convenience, it is recommended to purchase a package before departure.
The validity period of the package follows the Time in Western Indonesia (WIB)
The active period of the package starts from the date of purchase with an active period of 30 days. For example: a package purchase is made on January 1, 2020, at 18:34 WIB, then the package is valid until January 30, 2020, 23:59 WIB.
Packages cannot be renewed automatically, but customers can purchase the package more than once.
This package can be purchased together with the Singapore-Malaysia Package and the Asia Pacific Package.
When you buy an Around The World Package and are in a country other than the list above, you cannot use internet services until you purchase a Package available in that destination country.
When your quota runs out during the active period, you will not be able to use internet roaming in that country.
When the active period of your Package ends, you will not be able to use internet services until you have purchased a Package that is available in that destination country. Make sure you make a repurchase.
Internet services use 2G / 3G / 4G depending on the Operator Partner's network
The use of international roaming services may exceed the customer's credit limit. Smartfren has the right to suspend service if the customer exceeds the usage credit limit.
To enjoy internet services while roaming, please activate the internet roaming function on your device before leaving Indonesia.
Customers may have to wait 5-15 minutes to get to the Operator Partner network the first time they turn on the device overseas.
Customers can experience high internet roaming usage due to automatic application updates or email downloads when the Data Roaming menu is activated. If you want to save on internet usage, you can deactivate the application's automatic settings option before leaving Indonesia
Smartfren has the right to close or change the service, terms and conditions without prior notice. And in the event of inconsistencies or disagreements, Smartfren has the right to issue opinions, interpretations and final decisions.
